Opposed to unpleasant candor, the Democrats' governing body operates more like a communications shop rather than an electoral entity focused on cultivating a volunteer base capable of prevailing at the polls.

A Climate That Avoids Dissent

Reluctant to challenge the prevailing attitude of conformity, the committee has remained under the Biden-Harris shadow throughout 2025. Releasing an official autopsy would have indicated that party leaders actually want to foster public discourse about the missteps which allowed Donald Trump to become president again. Instead, the committee is acting under the pretense that there are no lessons to glean following the tragic debacle of 2024.

The top priority: will this lead to victory? Should the answer be negative, it is an unnecessary diversion from what truly matters," an explanation which was presented for withholding the report.
